You Are An Athlete

Anyone can become an athlete! The single, detining characteristic that separates athletes trom "regular folks" is training. Athleticism is actually a built-in, universal human attribute: we were all designed to be experts at running, jumping, throwing, hauling, pulling, pushing...all the things you might see the typical amateur athlete doing on one of those popular "obstacle course" shows on broadcast TV

In fact, this tends to be the exact same kind of activity you'll find at your local daycare center or elementary school, where a bunch of pre-school kids are running around outside, climbing around on complicated playground equipment. They just do what their genetic code tells them to do, which is to GO-to be ACTIVE, and to DO THE THING.

The best athletes in the world don't reach their elite status by spending a little bit of time on foundational concepts.

The reality is that elite athletes--the ones our culture tends to elevate to "godlike" status -are only able to become athletic overachievers by first focusing on mastering "the basics": the most basic human athletic movement patterns, which are common to all human cultures, all over the world.

The training you will find in the entire suite of Wildman Athletica programming will teach you the fundamental human movement patterns and how to correctly perform them. You will then be introduced to workouts that will challenge you to augment those basic human movements patterns over a long period of time, until you have achieved absolute mastery of those essential movements.

Overall, athletes will develop a strong foundation of General Physical Preparedness, and build greater athletic skills, over a long period of time.

Most people fail to think of themselves as athletic, and that's only because they fail to focus on the absolute basics of human movement patterns. for a sufficient period of time. it is only through a long-term focus on the fundamentals of human movement that the human body permanently cements its adaptation to athletic conditioning.

Ultimately, you must believe that you are a capable, high-calibre athlete, because from this moment on You Are An Athlete, and you are now in training with a sought-after, highly-skilled athletic trainer.
